Installing ShadowCast.

A few steps, a couple of minutes.

Before you start

Operating system
macOS 11.0 or later, on Apple Silicon
Plug-in formats
AU, VST3 and Standalone
Host
An AU or VST3 host, or run it standalone

Logic Pro, Ableton Live and REAPER

Steps

  1. Download. Once ShadowCast is out, sign in and download the installer from your account.
  2. Run the installer. Open the downloaded file and follow the steps. It installs the plug-in.
  3. Rescan in your DAW. In Ableton Live, open Settings → Plug-Ins, hold Alt (Option) and click Rescan. In other hosts, use the plug-in manager's rescan.
  4. Open it. Load ShadowCast on a track and open its window. Your 14-day trial of the full plug-in starts then, not when you install it.
  5. Activate. Bought a licence? In ShadowCast, open Settings → Licence, paste your licence key and press Activate. After that, it works offline.

Your licence

One licence covers 3 of your own computers. On each computer, the AU, VST3 and Standalone versions share one activation, so installing all three still counts as one.

Not showing up?

Make sure plug-ins are enabled in your DAW and that it has rescanned since the install. Still stuck? Email hello@waveloom.com.
